Hospital decided the election: now the whole town is hoping

Even the ÖVP mayor was pleased about the FPÖ's victory in the regional elections: Because now there is new hope in Rottenmann that the local hospital will be preserved after all and even expanded into a leading hospital. But nothing is fixed yet: "The decision will be made in Graz."

One man's joy, another man's sorrow: while in Stainach-Pürgg there is great sadness that the construction of the lead hospital has suddenly receded into the distant future, there is great relief in Rottenmann, 23 kilometers away. The town has justified hopes that its hospital, founded in 1844, will not only be preserved, but also expanded to become the central medical contact point in the Liezen district.
