Kronen Zeitung als bevorzugte Google-Quelle hinzufügen Energy communities have been possible in Austria since July 2021. This is an association of individual households, municipalities or companies to make the best possible use of self-generated electricity - for example by means of a photovoltaic system - within a community. The advantage of an energy community is that you can set the price for the electricity you produce yourself and are therefore no longer so dependent on the usual electricity costs. There are also other financial benefits, more on this later.
