Now only a miracle can save DSV Leoben

DSV Leoben has been fighting for financial survival for months - but now the club, still a regional league team on paper, is on its last legs. Yet it was only on Saturday that a hint of hope had been given to the club. 

Former chairman Mario Bichler, who was under investigation by the economic and corruption prosecutor's office for serious fraud at the end of last year in his former position at the club (the presumption of innocence applies), suddenly returned, equipped with a power of attorney to bring the club back to safety. The sleeves were rolled up one last time to make the impossible possible.
