Hans Peter Doskozil: “You should never cling on”

The coalition negotiations in the federal government have failed. Governor and SPÖ top candidate Hans Peter Doskozil saw this coming. He wants to defend first place in the state elections on 19 January. A conversation about composure, baby plans, last tears and events that took his breath away.

Friday afternoon in Oberwart. We had actually agreed to interview Hans Peter Doskozil (54) on the living room sofa of his 90 square meter OSG rented apartment. Instead, we are now sitting with the governor on a psychotherapy couch. Namely that of his wife Julia, who runs a practice for individual, couple and family therapy here, just a stone's throw away.
