Christoph Schneider: “I will soon be a dad!”

Christoph Schneider, top candidate for the NEOS, wants to make it into the Burgenland state parliament in the state elections on January 19, 2025. The "Krone" met him at home in Breitenbrunn to talk about the joys of having a baby, his self-doubt as a teenager and his luck on the night of terror in Vienna in 2020.

It's immediately obvious that Christoph Schneider (34) once wanted to become a professional footballer like his idols Zinedine Zidane and Lionel Messi. Once he starts kicking, an hour and a half can easily pass without the ball hitting the ground even once. "My record is 3,000 kick-ups," he says proudly when we meet him at home in Breitenbrunn.
