Anja Haider-Wallner: “I am a child of reconciliation”

Anja Haider-Wallner will be fronting for the Green Party in the Burgenland state elections on January 19, 2025. She gave the "Krone" an insight into her home in Eisenstadt and talked about her childhood, her experiences as a single parent and romance under the Christmas tree. 

"I'll just quickly put a pot of lentils on the stove! Then I've got time," says Anja Haider-Wallner (45), scurrying into the kitchen before taking a seat on the cobalt blue velvet sofa in the living room. The Green politician has lived here for nine years in her 120 m² apartment building in Eisenstadt at the foot of the Leitha Mountains.
