Salzburg lacks a disposal system for PV modules

What to do with old photovoltaic panels from Salzburg's roofs? The question has not been clarified and end consumers are facing problems. Fuschl no longer accepts disused modules. Recycling centers do not have to. The manufacturers are responsible - but that doesn't always help end users.

"With immediate effect, the Fuschl waste collection point will no longer accept photovoltaic (PV) modules." The small message on the municipal website concerns an issue that is likely to become a big one. What happens to PV modules installed on private homes at the end of their life?
