Sensational discovery! While America was not yet marked on the world maps - because it had not yet been discovered - and there were therefore no potatoes here, the Obkircher House in St. Oswald near Bad Kleinkirchheim in Carinthia was already standing. The two oldest rooms in the building were built in 1462!

The sight of two small windows opened up a view of a possible sensation: in the upper "Labm" at the Obkircher farm, Gothic light hatches face north and south. "The pointed arches were the first indication of the early construction date of the building," explains ethnologist Heimo Schinnerl.
