If Tyroleans are confronted with a problem, they can ask the Provincial Ombudswoman for help. A free (!) service that is very popular - as current figures show. And it is hard to believe how many areas this complaints and advice center deals with.

An authority's decision is completely incomprehensible or an official letter is the sole cause of a headache. What to do in such situations? One possible solution is to ask Doris Winkler-Hofer and her team for advice and assistance. This is an independent and unbureaucratic advisory and complaints office of the provincial parliament that emphatically defends the rights and concerns of Tyroleans.
