First, second - and ... Third, sold! Auctions have their very own fascination. Even more so when you don't even know what you're bidding for. Live auctions of returns that are still in their packaging are booming. We met a couple from Lower Austria who are swinging the hammer on TikTok.

First the plastic falls, then the cardboard, it crackles violently. This is also because there is a lot of tension in the air and the moment of truth has arrived: an elongated object is stripped of its last wrapping, then turned over once - and it turns out to be a ... A hair straightener!
