“Don’t spit now”: children stuffed food in their mouths

Tying pigtails so tightly that it hurts girls. Stuffing food into the mouth and holding it shut if the boy doesn't want to swallow. Locking toddlers under the age of three in a gym if they don't do anything. All of this is alleged to have happened in a nursery in Carinthia - and now has serious consequences.

Two years ago, "black pedagogy" caused displeasure in a crèche in the district of Klagenfurt-Land: the manager and her deputy had treated toddlers brutally - stuffing food in their mouths if they didn't want to bite it straight away ("Speib jetzt nit"), plaiting pigtails so tightly that girls cried, locking children alone in the gym for educational reasons, so that the crèche children were completely frightened.
