Huge sums of money are being made from people's mental health - not only by appropriately trained psychotherapists, psychiatrists and psychologists, but also increasingly by people who only think they are. It is often difficult for laypeople to distinguish between serious and dubious offers.
Today, more and more people are aware that good health is not limited to the body, but also includes the soul. Mental illnesses and disorders of mental well-being account for 20 to 25 percent of the burden of disease in Europe. And when the soul suffers, the younger generation in particular is less and less afraid to talk about it. A positive trend in itself.
