Following his election victory, FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl now wants to be tasked with forming a government. The federal party leader wants to reward his closest confidants and most loyal companions for their commitment with high posts and offices. The personnel foundation of the blue shadow cabinet is already in place.

At least the FPÖ cannot be accused of not having announced it. As soon as they entered the blue election party, representatives of the press from home and abroad were told that they should please leave the party after the speech by federal party leader Herbert Kickl. After a few minutes of grace, the Blue Party communicated this once again with emphasis. The editor-in-chief of a Viennese weekly newspaper was denied entry.
