Suddenly a knife flashed! A brutal fight in broad daylight in the Volksgarten in Linz disturbed many passers-by. A young Somali man is now in custody. The incident also highlights the fact that the pacification of the heavily frequented park did not work out as planned.

"That was really intense. I just thought to myself 'Aha, Favoriten in Linz'. That's where it all went down" - this is how one Linz woman (65), who lives next to the Volksgarten, describes how she felt when she suddenly witnessed a wild argument while walking her four-legged friend on Saturday afternoon. At the Stelzhamer monument, a total of five men attacked each other.
