Charity after death: more donations in wills

2,446,000 Austrians have already made a will. And not everyone wants to include their own family in their will. For charitable organizations, this is the best opportunity to raise money. A separate initiative, "Vergissmeinnicht", has been courting so-called will donations for years - with great success.

There are 900 cases a year in which the state can be pleased with an inheritance and a few unexpected millions - namely when single people die without descendants. And without a will. Charitable organizations want to prevent this from happening - and offer advice on donations in wills.
