Carinthian woman murdered: Hot trail leads to the sauna

A year and a half ago, the small Carinthian town of Edling was rocked by a murder case. A woman lay dead in front of the mortuary - for a long time it was not clear how she died. Now the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt believes it has not only clarified this, but also finally knows the perpetrator. 

The death of a 62-year-old woman has been under investigation in Edling since February 2023. The woman was found by a schoolchild in front of the local mortuary at the cemetery in the early hours of an icy winter's day. The investigation continued in a similarly macabre manner - for a long time it was not clear how the woman had died and whether it was an accident or a possible murder.
