TV hit: the countdown to the Chinese invasion is on

China is invading Taiwan, at least on television. The Taiwanese TV action series "Zero Day" shows in drastic images what a military invasion could look like. Politicians and the public are in turmoil. There is great fear that fiction could become sad reality. Krone+ knows more.

After a military blockade, panic, madness and chaos break out on the island. Desperate people crowd in front of ATMs, looters empty the supermarket shelves. Foreign citizens are hastily evacuated from their home countries. There are riots in prisons. TV stations are hacked to broadcast Chinese propaganda, and the landing of ground troops is imminent. It is shocking scenes like these that are currently upsetting the Taiwanese.
