Derby riots: now the church wants to make peace

After last year's riots, there is great concern about the next derby in Graz in October. The diocese of Graz-Seckau is taking a remarkable initiative. It is bringing supporters of Sturm and GAK together. The aim: to avoid riots in future.

The violent excesses at the last Graz soccer derby are still a sad memory for many. On October 19, Sturm and GAK will clash again, this time in the Bundesliga. In order to do something about possible riots in the run-up to the match, an unusual player is now taking action - the church!
