Styrian’s leg amputated after doctor’s error

Sebastian tragically lost a leg when he was just ten years old. The passionate sportsman only wanted one thing - to finally ride his bike again! The "Krone" family helped him achieve this. It has also recently become clear that a medical error was to blame for the amputation. Now there is a groundbreaking court decision!

The story began in July 2015: the then ten-year-old was admitted to hospital after suffering a fractured femur. While playing soccer, the normally strong bone broke as a result of a press ball. He underwent surgery. However, the tumor that had formed in his knee remained undetected for the time being. During the operation, he was even pierced with lace wires.
