Tanja is a student in Vienna and works as a sex worker on the side to supplement her income. She talks about her excitement on her first date and what really happens on an escort date - it's not just about sex, but also about intense and interpersonal closeness.

What do you imagine an escort worker to be like? Extravagance, expensive restaurant visits or rich managers who want to live out their urges in private? "It's a bit of everything," says Tanja, who actually has a different name.

"This type of profession has always fascinated me. There are a lot of prejudices here, especially when it comes to the people we meet. But some clichés aren't too far-fetched, they're just a bit exaggerated," Tanja tells the Krone.
