Hospital wants to offer service, but is not allowed to

Are there too few locations for cardiac catheter examinations in North Tyrol? Innsbruck Hospital is the central point of contact. St. Johann Hospital would also like to offer the service. This would save patients travel and waiting times. But the province has other plans. Why? 

Around 40 percent of all deaths in Austria are due to cardiovascular disease. Accordingly, good and comprehensive medical care is important. This also requires cardiac catheterization laboratories. They are used to examine and treat patients with coronary artery disease.
