While many escape to the cool office these days, they can't escape the heat: Construction workers toil, no matter what the weather. What tricks they use to protect themselves - and how employers can give them a helping hand.

The well-known dog days really pick up speed in the middle of the week. But temperatures of up to 35.1 degrees in Fürstenfeld, the country's heat hotspot, don't just make dogs pant - construction workers in particular are sweating profusely. One of the people who can't simply sit down in a cool office is Kevin Gimpel.
