The tragedy of a woman from Türnitz – and her daughter

In 1992, a woman from Lower Austria was separated from her young child under terrible circumstances. The two found each other again in 2022. But they were still unable to see each other. Now the mother died of cancer. Without having hugged her beloved daughter beforehand.

It was about a year and a half ago when a miracle happened for Nisreen, a young Egyptian woman, and Anna, a Lower Austrian woman who was already seriously ill at the time; the two were finally allowed to see each other again after more than thirty years apart.
