A 32-year-old man was speeding through Linz on a motorcycle at 132 km/h and the police confiscated the bike. It was the fifth vehicle confiscated under the new speeding law in Upper Austria, but all of them have since been returned to their owners, none of them foreclosed. Is the new law toothless?

Breathless through the night: A man from Pasching (32) sped through the city of Linz at 132 km/h on a bike shortly after midnight on July 31. Because he had exceeded the speed limit of 70 km/h on the B1 by more than 60 km/h, a motorcycle was confiscated for the first time in Upper Austria under the new speeding law.
