Verdicts often unknown: “secret justice” pilloried

And so a kind of "secret justice" has developed, as lawyers denounce!

The judiciary currently has several issues to deal with: In addition to the turmoil surrounding the evaluation of seized cell phone data, there is now a second point of contention between Justice Minister Alma Zadić and the Austrian Bar Association - and this has implications for every person seeking justice in the country.

Drunk drivers, for example, have tried for years to move their trial to western Austria - because there they were once only fined for a fatal accident, while in the east, for example at the Klagenfurt regional court, prison sentences have already been imposed.
