Cows attacked hikers: That’s why the farmer has to pay!

There has already been talk of Austrian "killer cows" in Germany, and now there are new lawsuits for compensation after cow attacks: In Carinthia, for example, a seriously injured hiker is demanding compensation for pain and suffering after an attack - a "cow expert" is to clarify what caused the animals to attack.

When the first spectacular "cow verdict" was handed down in 2019, "Bild" ran a headline about Austrian "killer cows" that had trampled a German woman to death. A Tyrolean farmer had to pay high damages. The Klagenfurt lawyer Michael Hirm had brought the case on behalf of the widower of the victim. However, Hirm has now changed sides.
