Nicotine pouches - also known as "snus" - are becoming increasingly popular with teenagers. This has apparently already led to frightening scenes and rescue missions in schools. Young consumers are rarely aware of the dangers of this intoxicant. For example, that small crystals in the bags can cut the gums.

Rescue missions in the classroom: 13- and 14-year-old pupils pinch nicotine pouches under their lips and then have to go to hospital with circulatory collapse because they cannot tolerate the high dose of neurotoxin that they absorb within minutes via the mucous membranes in their mouths.
