There is so much “stuff” in this vast land

In the transition from oil and gas to renewable energies, there is a beacon of hope that is also being backed in Lower Austria. Why there is currently no alternative to hydrogen and why Lower Austria is hoping to become a hub in the European hydrogen carousel.

When it comes to a climate-neutral industrial society, hydrogen (H2) is indispensable. A summit was convened at Schwechat Airport, attended by 400 representatives from business and science. One third of the energy is lost during the conversion to hydrogen, and according to forecasts it is unlikely to be much less.
