Daughter takes over mountain hut from father as landlady

The young Tyrolean Daniela Rauth is swimming against the tide. While huts and mountain pastures elsewhere are unable to find tenants or landlords and in some cases have to close, the Telfer native is continuing to run the family business Rauthhütte in Leutasch after her father Andreas retired. What motivated her.

Finding a hut manager is now almost like looking for a needle in a haystack. Handing over a family business in the mountains to the next generation seems almost doomed to failure, and not only in Tyrol.
