Clarification of the damage caused by the “construction hole” is delayed

The promises of clarification were as great as the damage caused by the huge construction site in the Hollabrunn pedestrian zone: At least that's the opinion of local residents who - in view of new, as yet unconfirmed delays in compensation - feel let down and are now calling in lawyers.

It took 14 days for the apartment owners next to the mega construction site in the Hollabrunn pedestrian zone to receive the notification of the building subsidence. "The director of the building authority actually promised us this immediately," says Bettina Böck, whose restaurant was banned from entering for three days after the subsidence.
