Questionable proof
Pinzgau farm acquired with a “GDR license”
The purchase of the Hinterlehen estate in Saalfelden is becoming increasingly mysterious. New details show that the transaction was based on a purchase from the German reunification period.
Is the buyer of the Hinterlehen estate in Saalfelden a farmer or not? This question is still unanswered. "Krone" readers know: Only farmers are allowed to buy agricultural land and farms. In the case of the evicted Pinzgau farm, more and more details are coming to light that cast doubt on the suitability of the buyer from Germany.
The supposed proof of suitability as a farmer by the association "Familienbetriebe Land und Forst Sachsen und Thüringen", which according to its own statements cannot issue any such proof, is based on a transaction by the buyer after German reunification. He acquired a former pig farm in the GDR. He did not really become a farmer as a result. Commercial space was created on the grounds of the farm. The remaining agricultural land went to a sheep farmer under a cooperation agreement.
