He comes from Bologna, has traveled the world as a coffee ambassador and is an Austrian coffee roasting master: Andrea Trevisan, who has lived in Bregenzerwald for several years.

The Austrian national champion in the discipline of coffee roasting is an Italian. Somehow that is not surprising. Holidaymakers have always known it: "When we go to Italy, we always stop at the first highway service station. They have a great espresso there." Sometimes they also said "expresso". There is some truth in that. After all, the Italian service stations have portafilter machines - and the know-how to operate them. Two major advantages over most non-Italian establishments of this type, where the fully automatic coffee machine is in charge.

He also knows how to do it: Andrea Trevisan, who has been selling coffee in stylish bags under the name "Trevo" since 2019. Back then, the roasting machine was still in the garage in Au, but Mr. Trevisan has had his own coffee shop in Bezau since 2021.
