Otmar Striednig shaped mountain rescue for almost two decades. In the "Bergkrone" interview, the Carinthian talks about the major impact of the outdoor boom on Austria's mountain rescue service. 

Otmar Striednig is one of Austria's longest-serving mountain rescue leaders. The man from Mallnitz led the Carinthian mountain rescue service for 18 years and will not be standing again in the upcoming election.
