Two shocking property deals with dementia patients

It is an unusual trio against whom the public prosecutor's office in Wels, Upper Austria, is bringing down heavy artillery: a lawyer, a notary and an expert. They are alleged to have defrauded a woman suffering from dementia. A second, similar real estate deal also raises questions. The "Krone" knows the details of both cases.

The expert is said to have issued expert opinions as a favor in several cases and was reportedly taken into custody on Friday. The reason, according to the public prosecutor's office: there is a risk of concealment and the commission of a crime. According to "Krone" information, the man is a very well-known and highly respected psychiatrist.
