Anger at the social system

The labor and social courts are bursting at the seams. This is often because legal regulations are not being applied satisfactorily in practice or experts are being severely questioned. Aging with dignity is also in serious competition with the far cheaper and sedative drug cocktail, as this case shows.
The family of Berta Z. from the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya in Lower Austria is stunned, disappointed and bitter about the pension insurance institution and how the Austrian social system apparently solves cases today. Even then, the family could hardly believe their ears when they heard a statement from a representative of the pension insurance fund: The mother should simply be given more or stronger medication to minimize the effort - that way the care level would not have to be increased from 5 to 6, the "Krone" reported.
Now the decision of the Krems Labor and Social Court regarding the increase in care level has been made. With an unbelievable result for the family:
