The first cars will soon be rolling along the controversial S 7

28 kilometers, 860 million euros, about a quarter of an hour's drive: the Fürstenfeld expressway, the S7, connects the A2 with Hungary and is intended to relieve the people of Eastern Styria from the plague of through traffic. The western section will be opened to traffic at around 2 p.m. on Saturday. But even now, criticism of the road continues.

It almost feels like a walk through the Edelsee forest when you cross the S7, at least acoustically: birds chirping, only a drone buzzing in the sky.
