Attersee: €8.5 million paid for which villa

The next multi-million euro real estate deal in the Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria: almost nine million euros were paid for a plot of land including a villa on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee. The historic building used to belong to a church, but now a property developer wants to build apartments. The "Krone" knows all the details. 

Only at the end of last year, 3.6 million euros were spent on the former agricultural school in Weyregg am Attersee. The run-down building, owned by the state of Upper Austria, was sold to a real estate group that wants to build a nursing school in the community.
