Following the tragedy in Naarn, the Mühlviertel breeder of the American Staffordshire terrier that literally mauled jogger Herta A. last October will stand trial in Linz on Thursday for gross negligence manslaughter. The "Krone" spoke to the defendant's lawyer before the trial.

"My client will make a full confession. She is a responsible pet owner who simply had an accident," assures defense lawyer Philipp Wohlmacher ahead of the criminal proceedings today, Thursday, in Linz. According to the public prosecutor's office, his client had always stated that she had only seen that the three dogs had been with the jogger, but had not done anything wrong herself.
