At the beginning of the week, Johannes Pressl replaced Alfred Riedl as President of the Austrian Association of Municipalities. In an interview with "Krone", he now reveals why he had a chip installed in his car, when the billion for the municipalities is to be paid out and how he assesses the Koza case.
"Krone": Mr. Pressl, you wanted to become a pastor as a teenager and are now the president of the Association of Municipalities. What went wrong?
Johannes Pressl: (laughs) I actually attended a seminary in Seitenstetten, but then changed my mind at the age of 16. I then realized that this was not the life I wanted to lead. I don't regret it. However, everyday life and my time at the seminary were very instructive.
