Super election year: The parliamentary term in motions

In the months leading up to elections, parties often discover new priorities for themselves. But what have they actually focused on in their parliamentary work? We have analyzed the motions tabled by the five parliamentary parties in this legislative period.

Nothing works without a motion. Laws passed by the governing parties, proposed amendments or the opposition parties' own initiatives - everything follows this route. Motions of censure or so-called ministerial impeachments are also tabled in this way. Two members of the government were particularly at the center of these motions.

7000 motions have been tabled. The most frequent motions are independent or dependent motions for resolutions; government parties most frequently table so-called independent motions (details in the fact box).
