Michael Buchinger:
“20 hours of work a week is more than enough for me!”
He is Austria's first influencer and also earns his living as a comedian. On February 23, Michael Buchinger will be performing his cabaret show "Ein bisschen Hass muss sein" at the Csello Mühle in Oslip. The man from Müllendorf spoke to "Krone" about his childhood, his fortune and his new plans.
"Krone": You grew up in Müllendorf with siblings seven and 14 years older than you until you were 18. What were you like as a child and teenager?
Michael Buchinger: I was a shy, quiet little mouse who always dreamed of someone coming up to me with open arms and saying: Hey, let's have a chat! My primary school teacher often advised me to be more social and bolder. She realized that I didn't have many friends and found it difficult to come out of my shell. That's why she suggested a karate course and social activities outside of school. She meant it kindly, but I found the idea funny. After all, I was already going to school five days a week anyway. So how much more social could I become?
