Dangerous people bring worry lines to police faces

The IS bloodbath in Villach is shocking. In Styria, too, there have been repeated terror alerts in recent years, from the rampage in Graz to radicalized schoolchildren. These were the most spectacular cases - and that's how active the scene is in Styria. 

Styria has been on the second-highest terror alert level 4 since October 2023. According to the 2023 report on the protection of the constitution (the report for 2024 is still being compiled), this is due to "an increase in abstract potential dangers, but also in concrete danger situations, most of which have been defused by security organizations and security authorities".
