More than 1,000 (!) cases are pending across Austria following coronavirus police operations that were filmed and commented on or even shared on Facebook. A Carinthian ex-police student also ended up in the dock. "I thought the operation was great," he affirms. The verdict against the man is surprising.

A Carinthian police operation from the coronavirus era in 2021 is still making its rounds at the regional court in Klagenfurt. An officer was filmed carrying out an otherwise unspectacular official act, but the video was then commented on with "shitty cop" and the like and cheerfully shared on Facebook, especially in Carinthia.
