Tyrolean couple win tough battle against ORF

For months, the ORF has been nagging a couple, who have been married for 51 years and live under the same roof, about the second household tax. Now the husband, an ex-police officer, has been able to buy the ORF's grit and gives valuable advice on how he managed it. 

Writing e-mails, making phone calls, raising objections - it's all no use: if the ORF fee collectors are on your back, you're in a bad position. It's hard to imagine how many "victims" give up in frustration and pay the ORF fee even though they don't have to.
