More and more party-goers are missing from the nightlife scene

In the first three quarters alone, ten party clubs in Upper Austria have already filed for insolvency. The battle for customers in this special catering segment is indeed getting tougher, as an expert on the scene reveals in an interview with the "Krone" newspaper. 

"Silent Night" was the motto in many discos this year, and not just during Advent. Nightlife venues had to remain closed for almost two years during the coronavirus pandemic, but a comeback has not always been successful. According to Kreditschutzverband 1870, ten bars and nightclubs in Upper Austria went bankrupt in the first three quarters of this year alone - twice as many as in the entire previous year.
