"Advent markets are very nice for us humans - but not a place where dogs should be," says animal welfare-qualified dog trainer Sabine Koch-Bischof. "It's loud, it's dark, it's also cold for the dog while we warm ourselves with punch - and it's often crowded, then someone might step on the animal's paws or there might be something on the floor that could hurt the dog."
