If you need a specialist, you have to be patient. Or luck! A study by the Tyrolean Chamber of Labor has now revealed alarming results. In every third specialist doctor's surgery, no appointments could be made - often due to a freeze on new patients. Even in acute cases it is difficult! Which areas are particularly affected.

"The results of this survey are alarming and show that medical care in Tyrol is in dire straits," emphasizes AK President Erwin Zangerl. He speaks of a "huge imbalance" and appeals to politicians to "tackle the medical misery as well as the nursing misery". In any case, it is an "intolerable situation".
