Pain patient sent home by health insurance doctor

Despite severe groin pain that had been going on for several days, Ms. Leeb from St. Valentin near Upper Austria was not examined by the doctor but sent home by the receptionist. But are panel doctors allowed to turn away pain patients at all, especially if they arrive early enough?

"I had severe pain in my groin area all weekend. Because it didn't get any better on Monday, I went to a general practitioner in the morning to have it checked out," reports Waltraud Leeb from St. Valentin. There, however, the lady experienced a blue miracle.
