Hunting colleagues had suspected the two of them for some time and were on the lookout. And indeed: the Innviertel duo is said to have shot a doe in Lengau on Monday night. The shot game was found on their farm. Father and son accuse each other.

"We are all relieved that the uncertainty has finally come to an end - the evidence seems overwhelming", says Walter W. (50), hunting protection officer in Lengau. Together with a handful of confidants, he had managed to weave such a tight net around two suspected poachers that they became entangled in it.
