Destroyed fire station: arsonist wants to help

In August, an ex-Floriani set fire to the Münster fire station in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein. Just over a month before the trial against the 31-year-old begins, he has now written a letter from custody to the Münster fire station commander.

On August 23 of this year, the 31-year-old, who himself had previously been a member of the Münster fire department for more than a decade, broke into the fire station of the Unterland municipality. There he tore the safe from the wall and set fire to the command room to cover his tracks. The command room was completely destroyed in the fire.
